Using a non-traditional method that has become a trademark of our Chardonnay, a truly spectacular wine is created. Creamy yeasty tones develop from 6 months in concrete tanks, combined with bright fresh fruit flavors preserved from stainless steel tanks, and toasty oak notes from French barrels.  A long cool summer in the Zotovich Vineyards of the Santa Rita Hills Vineyard delivers maritime breezes and cool moist fog, allowing for fruit that is fully ripe yet maintains a high level of acidity. Tropical aromas of grilled pineapple and guava, and sweet toasted marshmallow. The finished wine is perfectly balanced with fruitiness, bright acidity, and a fresh, clean finish.
