Through the years, our estate vines have matured to produce more complex, interesting, enchanting wines. The 2023 vintage is one to be remembered! This classic Zin is juicy, fresh, and makes for a fleshy, robust wine. Spice aromas reminiscent of winter holidays - cinnamon, clove and allspice spring from the glass. Blackberry and Central Coast Olallieberry dominate the palate with secondary flavors of Bing cherry and zesty cranberry. Floral aromas of violet and a surprising hint of honeysuckle tickle your senses. Thoughtful use of primarily French oak, along with American and Hungarian barrels, produce smooth, polished and lingering tannins.
