2020 Foothill Series Cabernet

Tanner Vineyard, Calaveras County, Sierra Foothills

Part of our state’s heritage - and a wine club favorite - California Gold Country's older vines planted in the rich, red volcanic soils of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Aromatic with loads of sweet cherry. Tanner vineyard produces bright, lively red cherry flavors melded with just a hint of mint and Sierra spice. Aging in French oak for 22 months and bottled aged for a further 9 months lends softer texture and smooth tannins. A long clean finish adds to the enjoyment of this wine.
