The red volcanic soil of California Gold Country is reflected in the ruby brilliance of this vintage. Lively bright cherry and rich vanilla cream drift up and weave through subtle white floral notes. Dried black fruit is perfectly partnered with classic cherry cola and a whiff of mint. Bright acidity and well-developed, gentle tannins help create a sustained finish. Just under two years in 100% French oak barrels, plus a minimum of 9 months of bottle aging help to create a smooth, glossy texture.
