This wine is powerful and compelling! The rocky soil of California’s Gold Rush country produces wines that are concentrated, intense, yet beautifully drinkable. Deep, dark, dense and delicious, with bold flavors and impressive textures. Aromas of cured smoked meat and black licorice lead to a palate of very ripe strawberry, warm melted chocolate, and cardamom spice. The long tannic finish has just a hint of rosewater.
