The unique climate of the Templeton Gap creates the perfect growing area for Cabernet. Long warm days allow for more time on the vine. Heat = supple ripeness and cool, often foggy nights = lively acidity. Black fruit jam, chocolate, and toasted hazelnut marry with aromas of soft rose petal. Black cherry and blackberry dominate the palate, followed by subtle brown sugar notes and a pleasant hint of mint. Tannins are elegant and velvety after long barrel aging in French oak, along with Brock’s traditional 9 months of additional time in the bottle
