Zotovitch Vineyard, Santa Rita Hills

Silken texture is the hallmark of this Grenache-dominant blend. The cool Santa Rita Hills are revered for long sunny days and cool foggy nights, producing ripe fruit balanced with high acidity. Aromas reminiscent of savory black olive tapenade, white pepper and sweet paprika are followed on the palate by loads of sun-drenched damsons and madagascar vanilla. French and Hungarian oak aging have become the custom for this special, very limited-production wine.
