77 year old, certified organic head-trained vines in the hot sunny Lodi climate yields bold, rich and very ripe fruit. vines. Old vines produce complexity and character, and this wine is full of both! Toasted oak, coconut and warm baking spice drift up from the glass, while dried red fruit and black tea notes elevate the palate. Dense, viscous and palate-coating, this is a supremely satisfying wine. A dry finish is enhanced by fine, supple tannins.
